That depends.

Are you back in the US? Did the bank know that you were out of the country?

If the bank sues you, then they might argue that, the statute of limitations was suspended while you were gone. On the other hand, there isn't any law requiring you to tell them that you were gone (if they don't already know.)

I would figure that, the most likely thing is for them to sue in the state where you were before leaving. Especially if they didn't know that you had left. On the other hand, they might sue in the state where you are now, if that is a different one.
