Hospital Debt

Recently I had my knee sutured in the emergency room. I am a student, whose only income is loans. The bill came to $1250. My question is: will the hospital eat this under the Florida Title XIX Outpatient Hospital Reimbursement Plan? I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.
