Your best bet is a secured card. Just do a search for "bad credit" and check out what comes up. Study the offers, read the fine print, but the amin thing is, the deposit is yours, it earns interest, and one day you will get it back. The fees are theirs, you never get it back.

You will have to start with one secured card, but if you use it, don't screw up, pay on time, for about a year, the you can apply for an unsecured card. Be very careful - many of these companies take advantage of people, so check each one out on epinions or somewhere like that so you know if they play games with you.

Don't apply to too many companies either, because that can hurt you.

There are some good books on rebuilding your credit - might be a worthwhile investment for you.
