AY,

First, once you have signed on with a debt managment company, or attorney or debt negotiation compay, the Credit Card companies must direct their questions and efforts to them. If they or any collection agency contacts you, let them know that you have hired a company/attorney that is representing you in this matter and to contact them on anything concerning this account. If they continue to harass you, send a certified letter(this should be done anyways)stating to contact your representitive on any further matters concerning that particular debt.

As far as you buying cars, homes or anything else, you'll have difficulties. Try to establish your credit with a secured credit card, or a passbook account at banks. In a post earlier, Linda stated the procedures in accomplish this, and I have used this method myself.
