Claim Chapter 7 BK, as others have suggested. For the same price, if you own property, your attorney will also file a homestead act to protect some or all of your equity, depending on the state that you reside in. DO NOT WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE, you may not have a chance once a lawsuit is filed against you.
