So they were sending you statements? Send them a letter, certified, return receipt, and tell them you have been paying the amount you were billed for. If that was incorrect, it is their problem. If they put anything derogatory on your credit report, or if they turn this over to a collection agency, you will sue them. Then send copies to the better business bureau and South Dakota's Consumer Protection Agency (I don't know what it's called there, but I can find out if you don't know), and the SD district attorney. And put on the bottom of the letter who you are sending the copies to. Then see what they do. They will have everybody in the state after them. Then if they mess with your credit anyway, go see a lawyer. Linda
