When Medicaid turned me down, they sent the notice of denial to my NEW address (out of state), from which I did not move until nearly a year later. Doesn't this mean the hospital knew where to contact me during that entire time yet for one reason or another chose not to do so? (In other words, wouldn't Medicaid have sent the hospital a copy of the denial, which would have included the out-of-state address?)
