I used to work as a collection agent and there are many times when we just forgot about sending a letter to the credit bureau. If you have a receipt of how much you paid and to whom you paid, my a copy of that data and send it to all 3 credit bureau's. If not, I would contact them first by mail, or if it's urgent for you to qualify for this semester's loan deadline, call them and ask for this. The burden of proof is on the creditor.
