Jason,

If you've received any information from the instituition that warned you, hold on to them. As Linda has mentioned, usually the entity who overseas disputes on the consumers behalf is the FTC, so get in contact with them ASAP.

Your next plan of action though, is to notify Social Security, and ask how you can go about getting a new SSN. Social Security is tough on giving out new SSN's, but if you can prove that you have been a victim, they could issue a new one.
