Just keep your head down for the next three years, they will be out of statute. Don't apply for any credit, or the collection agencies will be all over you.

After the SOL is up, you will have one year, and this all comes off your credit reports for good. Then you can battle the collection agencies if you decide to start applying ofr credit again. Just read up on your rights (the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) so you know what to do.
