SOL on credit card and interest

I applied for 12 month, same as cash credit at an appliance store in Maryland a few years back. The store claims I still owe them money for charges over three years old (at the time $200.00 in late fees.) I was contacted last year and told the amount was being charged to my credit report ($900.00 in fees and interest.)

This year, I receive a letter telling me the debt has been sold, and "interest will continue to accrue on your account as provided in your agreement with the original credit grantor." To date, they claim $1100.00.

What are my rights? Does the three year SOL apply to this type of credit? Can they continue to accrue interest forever and ever, amen? Can they get a judgement? When seven years finally passes, can I stop worrying about this? If they take me to court, will it be in Maryland, or wherever the creditor is located?

Thank you,
Joyce
