Unpaid collections and judgments - for as long as they are reported. No creditor wants to see that. The really sub sub standard CCC's will give you cards, but you pay a high price for them.

Paid collections or judgments - importance starts to fade at about 2 yrs from date paid, but that varies with different situations.
