I just check my credit report on Equifax, and found 2 entries for $887 each These "Open debts" are not mine and dated exactly as a previous charge off (which I paid and still shows on my report to bank of america). If this can help the cause, let me know please. I need to resolve this situation.

Details:

Bank of america Charge OFF $300 - date open 07/98 last activity 05/99 - Paid to NCO financial system 3/19/2001 $140.69 as settlement. (the entry still shows on my report)Date Reported 01/2000 (This was a credit card that I opened with a $300 deposit. They still have that deposit)

NEXT TWO ENTRIES:

GULFSTATE CREDIT OPEN $887 last activity 05/99 Date Reported 09/2001

GULFSTATE CREDIT OPEN $887 Date OPEN 07/98 last activity 05/99 Date Reported 08/2001

Note the dates that GULFSTATE mentions match exactly as the Bank of America dates. Probably they made this entry up using my report. I dont know. If this info helps, please let me know.

The rest of my credit report entries say: PAYS AS AGREED.

I would like to file a lawsuit against GULFSTATE as well.
