My parents were not involved at all. I was separated from my husband for 2 months and was staying with them. I was 41 yrs old at time.I bought radio advertising for a product I was selling and used my parents address. When radio station said there was still a balance due, I sent them the cancelled check proving otherwise.
They called and talked to my parents and said...make your daughter pay or we will sue you too.
