Thanks for all your help Linda...After the SOL is is long up is there really anything they can do to me? and is it true that the 3 credit reporting ferms have to remove anything good or bad from my credit report after 7 years except bk? I will read the gulf state thread. but in my opinion with so many people having to quit paying there Credit cards because of lost job and such there is no way for these ferms or collection companies to track down everyone they couldn't afford the man power. how long do they usually go after some one if they can't track them down ?

ps. Linda, you mean a bk could show up on my wifes credit even if we don't have any credit together ?
