Correction on my last statement. If YOU'VE HAD A HOMESTEAD BEFORE THE JUDGMENT WAS ISSUED, IN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND FLORIDA, then your property would be ok.

Transfering the property that was considered YOUR ASSETS at the time of the judgment, can still be REACHED by your creditors no matter who you sell it to.

Protecting your assets before litigation is paramount for people who own them. DO NOT WAIT TILL A JUDGMENT IS ISSUED TO TO THIS.

As JJ has mentioned, if these circumstance that I list above, WERE NOT DONE BEFORE THE JUDGMENT WAS ISSUED, your alternatives are to either pay it or file for BK.
