If you file a chapter 7, the trustee will probably snaggle your refund. But, that's it. After you are discharged you owe nothing else. {except maybe the refund if you hadn't received it or filed your tax return prior to the discharge.} I don't know what you mean by the whole 7 years. A chapter 13 plan last from 3 to 5 years and you pay a certain amount a month. If the tax refund is abnormally large one year the trustee may adjust the terms of the plan but, without more info I'd say it's "1 and done".
