Most states have some procedure where the creditor is informed of the source of funds. It may well take a formal hearing before a judge to get the accounts ruled off limits. Also, a creditor's lawyer will have the right to conduct a "debtor's exam" at whatever interval state law allows to see if the situation has changed. I'd see a lawyer and make sure you get it headed off at the pass.
