Oh wow! You can call the court in Florida and find out if there was a judgment taken against you there. Is there a judgment showing on your credit report, or is it just the collection agency telling you this? Some of them will say anything. The first thing I would do is see if there is a judgment (from a court) on any of my credit reports. If so, contact the court and ask for copies of the documents in the file. You will most likely have to pay for this, but it will be worth it. Linda
