You need to hire a lawyer licensed in Texas. You should also probably appear personally in court. Abandoning the resolution of this situation to others is what caused the problem in the first place.

If you haven't already, you should contact your first mortgage holder, also, to confirm how they handled the reposession of your former house and any proceeds from reselling it. Make sure bank 1 didn't already pay bank 2.

You might also want to questions why they have not attempted to contact you over the past 11 years. If the debt hasn't showed up on any of your credit reports, you might want to question why they wouldn't report a "valid" debt that defaulted over a decade ago. Hopefully you have retrieved your credit report regularly and kept all reports in your personal files. (if not, start now and do it religiously)
