I just received an offer from arrow financial services on a debt from 1992 with Citibank that was originally $1,100 and it shows that with all their interest charges it is now $4,272 but they are willing to settle for $640.88. i tried to negotiate with these people back in 1996 I told them I could pay $40 per month and they told me "that is not good enough" so I said then don't call me again since I tried in good faith to make arrangements, now they are out of luck due to SOL, I just chuck their letters.
