My daughter is on their credit list of people to bug. My daughter is 14 years old and supposedly has a debt to gulf state of 400.00 from fingerhut, this debt was to have accured in 1992.
At that time she was 5 years old and my family shared our house with one other family, the only thing I can figure is my "roommate" used my daughters name to secure credit to purchase items. I have 2 addresses of gulf state and the one phone number that I did call there was the ruddess person on the other end that I ended up hanging up on her and I am in the process of sending copies of my daughters birth to these people, but when I tried to locate them on the web I got directed to this message board and it makes me wonder if anything I do will actually work. I can't help you, but I hope things do work out for you and will you let me know if you get anything settled? I will do the same for you if our case gets corrected. Laura
