I'm about to have heart surgery and have 2 questions before I can rest easy.
1. I have school loans for my childrens education. They are in re-payment and up-to-date. In the case of my demise, will my wife be responsible for these debts? She has not been required to sign for any of them. Also, they have all been consolidated into 1 loan. Her potential income will be suffecient to cover only 25-30% of our current debt's payments.

2. My home load is a VA loan in my name. In case of my demise, will they reposess the home or will my wife be able to re-finance. Are there other options? At the time of purchase, we could not afford insurance on me. Would it be possible to get it now, with the knowledge of heart trouble?
