I don't know what to do

I'm being sued by an attorney representing a credit card company for debts that I incurred while my husband was still living. My circumstances have changed and I cannot pay this debt. I cannot afford an attorney. I live in Texas. What will happen to me if I don't respond to the pretrial interrogatories or don't show up for court? I really don't have any money. I receive a widows pension of $519.00 per month. Please answer soon. Donna
