No advice intended. My error. They cannot re-age accounts and start new reporting period. SOL depend on state statutes (i.e. if a state has a SOL of 6 years and one has proof account was charged off acording to credit bureau report and 6 years had passed then they would not be able to recover). I noticed somewhere on this board the advice not to obtain credit bureau report. Wouldn't one want to obtain their report to verify and challenge inaccuracies.
