sol question & thank you

I'm struggling with the SOL law for the state of Indiana being 10 years for collection of debts but my mother died during surgery (which we now question) but THAT sol is only 2 years for wrongful death......seems there is something wrong with this picture as money is more important than life.....and also wanted to thank you for having this list, answering and making me feel better, thank you again!!!
