If you know of someone who has been through this and had a good attorney, get a referral. If not, avoid the big clinics that make it too easy (installment payments, huge ads in the phone book).. Look for an ordinary attorney who does bk's along with general practice legal stuff, like real estate closings, avoid the one's who say they do collections (they won't be symathetic). Then go talk to him/her. Talk to more than one if necessary. Find one you are comfortable with. Linda
