thanks Mr Alan, I will get a copy of my credit report. The funny thing is that I recently received a credit card( and paying it on time, etc) My next question is should I respond to the letter, or just ignore it, I feel that if it was an actual lawsuit threat, it would have been sent certified mail. What do you guys think? As I said before the card was already behind in July 1997, and after the last payment, they said it is notin collections and I had to pay it in full, I did try to offer a payment plan, etc they were no help. So I told them to kiss off, so even if you add 180 days from them, the SOL is still a year over. Thanks for all your help, I do feel guilty about it, even though they were evil as hell in the whole matter.
