Help with offering Settlemet to Creditors? How?

Hi,
I need some help with what I need to do to try to settle $20,000 in Credit Card Debt. I owe this between 5 Credit Cards and Have the cash to offer a settlement and pay them off. I need to pay these cards off and would like to do it with the least amount of money as possible. What do I need to do to get the Credit Card companies to agree to a settlement? How much should I offer them? Is there a specific person/department that I need to call? What are my chances of settling? Please Help me, I do not want to try until I know what I am talking about?
