Send Chevron a letter immediately, certified, return receipt, stating that their phone line was unavailable on xxx date when you attempted to report the theft, and telling them the card was stolen. You are safe. Then keep trying the phone line. If you have homeowner's or renter's insurance your liability on any of the cards is covered. If anything else was stolen, you can file a claim with your homeowner's/renter's insurance company. It is subject to your deductible. Linda
