You sue Gulf State and The credit bureaus in small claims court for xx number of violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. It's $1,000 per violation, and you'll have them hands down. There is a limit to amount you can sue for in small claims court, just sue for that amount, plus your expenses (it isn't that expensive).

Better go read those laws, hehe. It's worth it. I mean, you just get the money, in a case like yours. They have no defense that will hold up in court.
