There are alot of reasons. First of all, a decision to sue is based on how much can be recovered in a reasonable period of time.
In your case, do any of the following apply. Has the SOL run inyour state? DO you live in a state that either does not allow wage garnishmnet or severly restricts garnishment? Do you own any property in your name? Have you moved frequently over the years?
Whatever the reason, keep your head down until 2003 when this stuff falls off the credit report.
