In response to my posting on Nov. 29 regarding a student account. This was not a student loan, rather an outstanding accounts receivable from over 12 years ago. It came up after the purchase of my new home recently. I am not sure what prompted it?? Anyway how do I handle a collection agency contacting me regarding this account?
