I know I have asked a simmillar question before, but am wondering if you have any further thoughts on it.
I have two collections one from 9/95 and one from 9/98 claiming that I owe 348$ and 1700$ now in collections the smaller one reports that they were unable to locate me. I am wondering
1) should I send a validation letter to both of them?
(mainly because I am doubtful that the original debtor could prove I owe this debt, certainly not the last one)
2) How can it be possible for them to list unable to locate consumer when I am staring at all of my previous addresses?
3) If I send a validation letter to both of them, what kind of proof is required...simply that the original debter says so?Is it really worth it.....
I have been so taken advantage of in the past, and am sick of it.......so please help..
