You cannot sue the credit bureaus if your complaint is more than 2 years old. This was decided by the Supremes in the Andrews case. Filing suits on the creditors and collectors is a much better way to go anyway and is much easier to accomplish.

And don't ask David Szwak to do anything as he is not interested in handling consumer related issues. He himself has stated this to many people and he will recommend you to some other attorneys who also seem totally disinterested in doing anything either. Going pro se against the company that put the derog on your credit files makes a lot more sense because they are responsible for the information they provide in the first place. Don't accept their pleas of irresponsibility. They put it there and they can take it off. If they complain they can't do it then let them pay for the damages they are causing you.
Don't stand for it. Learn how to force them to either take it off or pay the price and then still have to take it off.

Don't fool with them. Just lay it on them
