My credit scores must have gone up recently, because I've been getting more prime card offers lately. For a while I'd only been getting sub-prime garbage in the mail (23.99%? I don't think so!). They must not have known that my current cards are prime because I got them *before* I ran up my debt. Anyway, the most choice offer I've had in a while just showed up. It's for Chase Platinum,Classic, or Classic with Alternate pricing. It has a balance transfer offer with 0% fixed for one year. Thing is, I don't know if they'd give me this card if I applied, and don't want the inquiry hit on my reports. (Funny story, this happened twice when I applied for a First USA card, each application a year apart. They denied me both times, mainly for a high debt:income ratio. But then they went and bought my Wachovia Card balance so now I have a First USA account, anyway. I got screwed out of a balance transfer and intro rate! And they didn't even buy me dinner!) Anyway, guru-people, any insight on Chase? BTW, I've been reading creditnet also but can't sign up to post because my e-mail is out of commission. -michelle (ingenue)
