September and Yes I kept a copy of the offer. Looked exactly like the ones I received from Providian and Marin only after trying to find out why I didn't hear anything no phone number only a CA address. Since it was a corporation I did some research to find out where the company was incorporatated and called their register agent. It was a law firm in NY but they have no info or are not willing to release any info regarding AKRON. I have contacted my bank to get a copy of the cancelled check to see where it was deposited and see if I can get any other info.

Have you heard of them before?
