Well any advice? I filed my answer with the court on the complaint and fired off a letter(thanks Linda)to the attorney offering a settlement. So far all I have received is a pre-trial notice to appear. What's next? are there things that I should be doing like draining my bank accounts, stopping direct deposits from my payroll check? (maybe pay that 29.99 to the web site that I've seen to erase my identity?) or should I expect that this is part of the game that collection attorneys play?
A little smelling salts would help right about now.
