I stopped answering the phone when they call, but somehow, they got my neighbors phone #'s and are calling them and giving messages to me! This is a collection agency and the original creditor is now closed/bankrupt/out of business. The collection agency won't listen that the account is not mine, and they don't have ANY contracts, receipts or anything - just the account from the original creditor. What can I do to stop the harrassment to me AND my neighbors?
