I agree with Linda. With property in 2 states, you need a lawyer in the worse way. Say nothing to anyone about the potential personal injury suit until you have legal counsel. Also, I'd advise you to give up the home in Neb. It's not very smart to file bk and reaffirm something with a negative equity.
