Certegy is part of Equifax. However, they are considered a credit reporting agency, and you can request a copy of your file with them just like you can with the other credit reporting agencies. Write them a letter, include a photocopy of some sort of ID, and ask for it. Send it certified, return receipt mail.

I honestly think you should file a complaint with your state's AG. This is scary.
