Adding Info to Credit File(s) ??

I was wondering how I go about adding credit items to my report? I have a credit account with a particular company but they do not currently report to the bureaus. I have heard I can have information added as long as it can be verified. Is this true, and if so how do I go about it? Thanks for your time and Happy New Year!
