Please Help....serious credit problems and chexsystem

I'm listed on chexsystem for an incident in which my exboyfriend withdrawed money from my account without my knowledge.....long story short I wasn't awared of the overdrawned until recently when I tried to open a bank account and was denied. I got the report from chexsystem...NSF. I contacted BoA and they told me that the amount I owed them is 200. The original overdrawned was originally around 100. I told them to send me a statement of my account because this occured about three years ago and I no longer have any record of bank statement. They never send it to me. I want to send a letter to chexsystem to tried and disputed it because to this very day...i still have no proof of it. What should I say in the letter? Is there a bank in southern cali that would open a checking account for me? Please help...im a college student and struggling to make ends meet. Im also trying to clean up my credit...one in which was also ruined by my exboyfriend.
