I agree. If it has been 180 days since you defaulted, Citibank has written this off completely, and sold it to a collection agency. If they (CA) have sent you correspondence, sned a letter, certified, return receipt telling them they may not call you any more on the phone. Tell them you want them to prove that this debt is yours (that's your right under the law even though you already know).

Also, if they are being abusive (threatening, cursing, calling repeatedly, calling very early or very late in the day) they are breaking the law, and you can sue them if you can prove it. It's worth $1,000 a viiolation, and you can file in small claims court with fill-in-the-blank paperwork. If you don't want to do that, just tell them you are recording their conversation the next time they call. They will hang up quickly and if you do it every time, they will stop calling you.

So sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you got you money from the insurance company!! If not, get yourself a good lawyer.

As far as getting this off you credit report, it is probably too soon, but if you can catch these collections people breaking the law and sue them you can make them delete their entry as well as get the penalty money for the violations. Citibank will not go away so easily, and you will probably have to wait a while because all the records are still too fresh. After the records have aged some, you might be able to just dispute it and get it off.
