Here's the text of the letter I sent to the Credit Agency. Hopefully someone else can make use of it. It did stop them from calling me, although I still ended up being sued. We'll see how it all turns out:

Dear Liberty Credit Services,

I dispute the validity of the debt referenced by your agency as File Number 9336. This is a formal request to receive verification of the debt, per my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Additionally, I hereby request that you send me the name and address of the original creditor, if it is different from the current creditor. I request that you cease communication with me except to provide written verification of the alleged debt. Please be advised that you are required by law to notify all Consumer Reporting Agencies to whom you have reported this debt that this debt is disputed.
