I have been working to repair my credit and have been sucessful with having all incorrect items deleted from both Experian and Trans Union. Equifax, however, is giving me trouble. They have supposedly been able to verify most of the items that I feel should be taken off, hence they remain. Experian and Trans Union took them off with no problem. I called Equifax today and they said all's the creditors have to do is give them my correct name and SS# and thats verification enough and the item remains. Is it really that simple? I thought they had to actually verify with more "indepth" techniques? Especially since this is a re-investigation. Any ideas of what I can do about this? It just seems weird to me that 2 bureaus have taken each and every thing I wanted off off, yet Equifax supposedly verified them all and kept them. Thanks for your help and input.
