From now until April, your creditors will basically try to scare you to death by calling at all hours and by sending letters that will become progressively more threatening. Change your phone number and ignore the letters. When you get the divorce settlement, don't leave the money in the bank, or any other money in the bank for that matter. When all the cash you can gather is in your hands, then you can decide about bankruptcy. First rule: take care of yourself and your baby.
