You know, most businesses would love to be able to get a large amount of advertising for only $22.50 and I think you should give this owner lots of "love" !! Your automobile makes a great way to advertise for others, and as you drive around town, lots of folks will see and read your "advertisement" and then know what precautions to take when they deal with this bum. I'd also file a complaint with your local Better Business Bureau and the City Attorney. They probably won't do more than slap Mr. Owner on the wrist, but at least he has to confront it one more time. You can also run an ad in the local paper advising folks to get and keep their receipts from this business, and advise them to get any agreements in writing only. That's all the ad has to say -- his customers will make assumptions from there. And of course, word of mouth to your friends will spread a sense of caution around when dealing with Mr. Owner.
