Joint accounts would be reported on both your credit reports, but accounts that a just yours should only be reported on your credit report. The problem that comes up is that credit bureaus do not always do it the right way, and if someone starts trying to collect this debt from you, it could get reported as your fiancee's account also. It shouldn't but they do it anyway. Then you would have to deal with that situation. No way to undo this. I would think you would be wary of joint accounts by now.....
