Review the Credit Laws section on this site. You might want to also review the Florida Statute of Limitations (maybe on the web or available at courthouse law library). The worse thing is to ignore this because they will get judgement by default which they can then enforce for a longer period. IMO they are considering this a written agreement - ask for proof. With any luck you may be able to get this dismissed because of failure to provide written proof (only a thought). You must file an answer (a/k/a response) to the court to avoid default judgement (that brings on a whole other set of problems).
